Once, in May, my grandma got the garden rototilled. Then, the rototiller guy found a turtle egg. Then we planted. It was hard work. Then, I saw something moving! It was a turtle. It was smaller than a quarter. We named it Heidi, because the turtle hides a lot.
Then, after Christmas, Heidi was slightly bigger than a quarter. Now, Heidi is way bigger than a quarter. She didn’t eat very much. We went to the pet store, and asked why. They told us. We needed to get a bigger cage. We got a 40 gallon cage. Now, she’s happy with her new cage. We put her downstairs, but it is cold downstairs. We feed her big shrimp now. She is very feisty!
